Villa Baronessa and Villa Baronessina form an ensemble of two independent vacation villas. They are surrounded by a lush Mediterranean garden and offer high-quality architecture, architectural art and contemporary comfort just a few steps away from the picturesque center of the wine village of Kaltern am See.
Villa Baronessa was built in the 1950s as a garden pavilion for the neighboring aristocratic palace. Under the direction of Arch. Prof. Walter Angonese and artist Manfred A. Mayr, the villa was lovingly renovated and extended.
Close by, and yet all to itself, is Villa Baronessina, which we affectionately refer to as the Tea House and which is architecturally inspired by historical local buildings and interprets them in an original way.
